SSVFD has been serving the Sulphur Springs Community and Washington County for 40 years as of 2009!
We are proud to announce the new arrival of our newest Engine. It is a 2010 Spartan Class A Fire apparatus. This is now our main response truck for our fire district. It replaces our former engine/pumper Unit 405, a 1974 Pirsch fire engine, which was then donated to Dry Run Volunteer Fire Dept in Butler, TN. Pictures will be available of the new truck soon.
IMPORTANT! ***If you haven't already done so when the time changed, please replace the batteries in your smoke detectors and test them. They could save your life..give them a little bit of attention twice a year when the time changes, so you'll remember!***
