In the interest of safety,  we would like to see each household in our community have a working smoke detector in their home.  We do offer education about them and will help you obtain one if necessary. Just contact any of our firefighters for more information.

 We just recently held our EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operations Course) training on May 9th and 10th and it  was very successful.  We are required by law to have documented driver training on an annual basis.

We would also like to have your input on any class or course that we could offer to the community. We are always looking for ways to give back and improve our service to the community who cares so much about their fire department.  Thank you again for your support!   

The next Fire Chiefs Association meeting will be hosted by Nolichuckey VFD on June 3rd, 2008 AT 7:00PM.  Wellmont Health System's new helicopter, Wellmont One, will fly in to acquaint everyone with the new aircraft and answer any questions.
